Adrian has over 18 years of experience in non-bank financial services and corporate lending, having previously led credit operations at two regional financial institutions. He founded SIFIN S.R.L. with the conviction that businesses deserve faster and more flexible working capital solutions than traditional banks typically provide. Adrian oversees strategic direction, investor relations, and key client partnerships.
Elena Dumitrescu
Head of Credit & Risk
Elena spent 12 years in corporate credit analysis at a major commercial bank before joining SIFIN S.R.L. to build the company's underwriting framework from the ground up. She leads debtor assessment, credit limit governance, and portfolio risk monitoring across all factoring and financing facilities. Her rigorous approach to risk has been central to SIFIN S.R.L.'s strong portfolio performance since inception.
Mihai Ionescu
Director of Client Relations
Mihai brings 14 years of experience in relationship management across financial services, including specialised roles in trade finance and supply chain financing. He is responsible for client onboarding, ongoing relationship management, and ensuring that every client's facility is structured to genuinely match their business model. Mihai leads a team of relationship managers and is the primary escalation point for client service matters.
Cristina Popa
Chief Financial Officer
Cristina is a qualified chartered accountant with extensive experience in financial planning, treasury management, and regulatory reporting for financial intermediaries. She manages SIFIN S.R.L.'s own funding structure, liquidity planning, and financial reporting obligations. Cristina also oversees the company's compliance programme and works closely with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Bogdan Rotaru
Technology & Operations Lead
Bogdan has a background in fintech product development and has spent the last decade building digital platforms for financial services companies across Central and Eastern Europe. At SIFIN S.R.L., he is responsible for the client portal, data infrastructure, and the automation roadmap that will enable straight-through processing for qualifying facilities. He ensures that technology decisions are always aligned with client experience and operational efficiency goals.
